Marvin J. Rudnitsky, J.D.

Attorney Rudnitsky, the firm's founder stepped down as a partner in the firm in January of 2013 turning the reigns of leadership over to Karen Hackman and Ken Potter. His current status with the firm is Senior Counsel and as such continues to serve as an invaluable resource to the RHP team.

A Distinguished Military Graduate of the Pennsylvania State University in 1964, Marvin received his law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1967, where he was a member of the Law Review and Moot Court Board.

Marvin taught Business Law and Advanced Business Law at the Sigmund Weis School of Business at Susquehanna University since 1974 for 30 years. He was one of the initial faculty members of the Institute for Estate and Wealth Strategies at Michigan State University. He is a national lecturer on business succession and estate planning topics and teaches estate planning to certified public accountants, attorneys, insurance professionals and financial advisors. He is a contributing author of two books on estate planning: Strictly Business and Giving: Philanthropy for Everyone published by Quantum Press.

Active in the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Attorney Rudnitsky has served over 26 years in the House of Delegates, on the Board of Governors and, as Chair of the Solo and Small Firm Practice Section, he received the Special Achievement Award. He served three terms as a delegate to the American Bar Association’s House of Delegates. At the ABA, he is a member of the Tax and Real Property, Probate and Trust Sections. He was Chair of the Estates Law Committee of the Pennsylvania Bar Institute where he also served as president.

Attorney Rudnitsky is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Wealth Counsel, a national association of estate planning attorneys. He is a fellow of the Master’s Program of the Esperti-Peterson Institute of Wealth Strategies Planning.
